Amazing Moseley Studio - 9

Advertised as amazing but actually far from it. Not a comfortable stay Positive: We liked the Moseley area- plenty of good restaurants. Negative: The apartment did not feel comfortable or well maintained for our stay and was not as expected from the photos. The decoration has been completed to a poor standard. The lighting was very harsh with no lamp shade, the bedside lamp could not be plugged in due to the socket placement, and there was a persistent smell of smoke in the room/building. When we returned in the evening to find the main entrance door left open, which raised security concerns. In addition, the fitted sheet on the bed was too small and would not stay in place affecting sleep quality. Strangely the kitchen was a separate locked room next door to the apartment. Unfortunately, we decided not to stay for the second night of our booking as we did not feel comfortable. We also emailed the property managers with our concerns but did not receive any response which was disappointing.

it was good overall :) Positive: had everything i needed, plenty of space to put my luggage etc. kitchen is lovely though i didnt use it much due to being too tired to cook after work so i've just been ordering food. fridge freezer, oven, microwave, etc were all clean. Negative: it does get a bit warm in the room as its approaching summer now - even if the windows were all opened, would be much better if there was a tiny fan. the plug socket near the bed wouldn't work as the wall skirting is blocking it, even the provided lamp doesnt fit on the socket, had to use the socket by the foot of the bed next to the mirror to charge anything which is a bit inconvenient but it does get the job done so thats fine.

Positive: Everything! Lovely smooth check in and lovely room and loads of space Negative: Nothing

Over all good Positive: Good size roam with a bath tub at the top floor and separate kitchen. Negative: Steep stairs
